Ray Wagner, Q.C. is the founder of Wagners - a Serious Injury Law Firm. With over 30 years experience, he has restricted his practice to representing those who are harmed through the negligence of individuals, companies and government bodies. Mr. Wagner's legal practice has a primary focus on class actions, mass tort litigation, medical negligence, product liability and catastrophic motor vehicle accident cases.
Mr. Wagner's clients include the survivors of abuse at the Nova Scotia Home for Colored Children, senior citizens in the long term health care Class Action, residents of the infamous Sydney Tar Ponds, residents affected by the pathology and sterilization errors at the Miramichi Hospital as well as injured patients in OxyContin, Levaquin, Yasmin and Avandia pharmaceutical Class Actions. He also represents patients who have suffered issues with defective hip implants and the Mirena IUD medical devices as well as consumers affected by the General Motors recall. Previously, Mr. Wagner represented the families of the victims of the Westray mine disaster.
He has an extensive practice in medical malpractice, hospital and medical errors, with special interest in birth trauma, Cerebral Palsy (CP), misdiagnosis of cancer and premature death cases.
On April 17, 2012, Mr. Wagner was presented with the 2012 Honourable Lorne Clarke QC Access to Justice Award. The prestigious honour was awarded to Mr. Wagner in recognition of his continuing efforts to obtain access to justice for individuals who would not normally be in a position to afford such access.
On December 27, 2012, Mr. Wagner received his Queen's Counsel designation.
