I have an employment law column in the Ontario Homebuilder Magazine, I am a recurring speaker at Knightsbridge Human Capital Solutions for its "HR on the Move" group and I have been a speaker at Verity People Solutions and HAPPEN, the largest Canadian networking group for executives and professionals in transition.
I have appeared before the Ontario Court of Appeal, Ontario Superior Court of Justice, and the Commercial List, as well as numerous administrative tribunals, including: the Ontario Labour Relations Board, the Ontario Rental Housing Tribunal and the Licence Appeal Tribunal. I have represented employers, employees, condominium corporations, land developers and large financial institutions, as well as many individuals and owners of privately held businesses.
I hold an LL.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School and a Bachelor of Arts, with distinction, from York University. While I was in law school, I received the York Law Association Centennial Prize for the Medical-Legal Seminar and I was nominated for the Bert J. MacKinnon Scholarship.
